Calcium Bromide

Calcium Bromide is a high-density, clear brine solution used in the oil and gas industry to manage wellbore pressures. This ready-to-use, single-salt solution is ideal for clear brine workover and completion fluids, with densities ranging from 8.4 to 14.2 lb/gal. Its high solubility and stability under extreme pressure and temperature make it a preferred choice for drilling and completion operations.

Beyond drilling, Calcium Bromide's high thermal capacity enhances its performance in demanding environments. It is also used in environmental applications to improve the oxidation of elemental mercury in flue gas emissions, helping reduce pollution from power plants and incinerators.
